TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Comes to Canada!
In January of 2005, Toronto-based franchise management company, Heron Capital Corporation, acquired the Canadian master franchise rights for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.
Said Heron Capital Corporation president and CEO John Prittie, "The business philosophy of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was in sync with how we view our customer and business partner relationships. Because of a long-standing home building legacy, we see some key marketing opportunities for our franchisees."
"We expect to be very successful in building a strong Canadian franchise business," said the 25-year franchise industry veteran. "Our long term goal is to develop and support a network of 40 to 50 franchises across Canada, including Quebec. Right from day one we want to differentiate ourselves with our dedication to customer service and quality of moving. We are members of the Canadian Association of Movers and with them are committed to being a role model in the industry."
In June of 2005, the first TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise opened in Hamilton, Ontario with great success and this has been followed by additional franchises in London, Burlington, Mississauga, Oshawa and Etobicoke.
Building on this success, we see tremendous opportunity for continued franchise growth centred around the GTA and Southern Ontario. And, in addition, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will be coming to the major cities and markets across Canada in the years to come.
Our plans are to make the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand as recognizable in Canada over the next few years as it is the U.S. today.
